A very beautiful, comfortable and convenient place to live.
I would tell them that the complex is an excellent place to live, so close to all of life’s many amenities, i.e. restaurants, specialty shops, shopping centers, etc. It’s being a gated community gives one a perfect sense of security and safety. It has a beautiful layout, where one can walk run bike, play volleyball tennis and sunbathe in the summer. It has a clubhouse which serves excellent food, a gym and a racquetball court one can use at regular hours. It also has an outdoor pool which is open all summer. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I truly enjoyed my six year stay at Baytowne. I highly recommend Baytowne Apartments to anyone looking for a place to live in Champaign Urbana.

Pretty nice but utilities are high and property is too dark at night
The townhomes are expensive and the utilities are high because the insulation is not good and the windows are not efficient so it feels pretty drafty. Also the there are not enough return vents and heat vents so the temperature is not even throughout the house. These apartments are located in a great area for shopping and entertainment. The maintenance team resolve problems quickly and the staff are friendly. The snow is cleared out quickly and salt is put down quickly. I am little upset that after my lease expires I need to pay a non-refundable transfer fee of 500 if I want to move to another apartment.

I know you viewed a vacant townhome to see if you were interested in upgrading. The windows in the townhomes are high efficiency so I am curious if they were closed and locked properly. Thanks for the heads up, we will check that out! I also wanted to clarify for you that should you choose to transfer at the end of your current lease, there is no transfer fee. The maintenance staff works hard to resolve issues, the staff enjoys working with our residents and the grounds staff takes pride in clearing the way – thank you for your kind words!
