I have enjoyed living in Baytowne Apartments. The proximity to the highway, shopping, and to downtown Champaign makes it a desirable place to live. The appliances are good and layout works well. The biggest issue we had was the apartment was not professionally cleaned, nor was it checked for any issues. The toilet in the bathroom had a cracked seal, and the apartment smelled like dust when we walked in. To be fair, as soon as we made the issues aware, they were resolved quickly. During the Summer, algae grows wildly in the lake and during especially hot days it smells bad. It would be nice for it to be cleaned during the Summer instead of waiting for the Fall. I love the pool, the restaurant, the amenities, and especially the staff. Every interaction I have had with the staff has been professional, courteous, and felt like they’ve put forth all their effort in helping me.

Comfortable, convenient, friendly. Maintenance is so fast and done well. Only issue is that I can hear upstairs neighbors very loudly at times. Not a fault of the apartment complex, as noisy neighbors are a reality everywhere.

Living at Baytowne has been absolutely wonderful. The staff are incredibly kind and always quick to respond when there’s any questions I might have. The grounds are beautifully kept and it’s always warm and welcoming. Couldn’t imagine a better place to live in Champaign.

Living in the Baytowne apartment would be awesome.

There are a beautiful lake and kind neighbors and staffs.

Once I locked myself out and the guard at the gate was so helpful. I got back into my apartment within 10 minutes I’m glad I decided to live in a gated community.
