I lived at Baytowne for three years in one of their remodeled 1BR apartments. Possibly the best community we've ever lived at. Throughout the years we had minor and even major maintenance emergencies but each one was handled very compassionately and professionally.The apartments themselves are very nice, quiet and safe. I never once felt like management had slighted us. The community felt like a very mature neighborhood with mostly families and graduates.I would highly recommend hopping on the waitlist for a Baytowne apartment, they really set the standard for a great living experience.

I lived at Baytowne for a year and loved it. (Would have stayed longer but I got a job in a different city.) My dog loved it too; so glad they now allow dogs. The apartments and surrounding area are beautiful. Walking around the lake or on the outer road are both pretty walks. The new dog park is awesome. And the entire staff does a great job. I especially loved seeing Ruben hard at work every day. It was always nice to share a smile and a wave with him.

We have been so impressed with the staff at Baytowne who have always gone above and beyond when we need assistance. Mariah the leasing agent and Diana the property manager were especially helpful and kind when we moved my elderly parents into an apartment at Baytowne. Justin from the maintenance crew made many modifications to my parents’ apartment to make it elder proof. He and Joshua have responded promptly to any emergencies, even on weekends. Baytowne is a great community to live in, and it’s largely due to the way the staff takes care of the residents.

Loved living at Baytowne. Incredibly well kept grounds and units. The staff is extremely professional, especially Mariah, Josh, and Diana! Highly recommend this bustling but quiet and diverse community.

I cannot say enough great things about Baytowne and the leasing agent Mariah. I’ve recently moved back to the area and decided to rent an apartment there. Not only was the unit reasonably priced and super clean but the amenities are top notch! You won’t find a better place than this. I feel like I’m living in a resort, the grounds are so beautiful.

I moved in Baytowne Apartments, September 2022, Heather Cohen was my leasing agent at that time. She was a jewel.Her work exemplified professionalism, being knowledgeable, patience, problem solving, and a willingness to provide the BEST service. Josh Cohen, maintenance staff, is OUTSTANDING!He exemplify, professionalism, being knowledgeable, patient, problem solving, and a willingness to ensure as he said "home is comfortable." The grounds are well maintained by maintenance staff, peaceful atmosphere, friendly neighbors.Mariah, thank you for the kind service you provide.I enjoy my place call home, everyday!

Baytowne is the BEST place in all of the Champaign-Urbana area. If you're moving here for work, graduate school, or any other reason, Baytowne is a great place to investigate!

My husband and I and our two dogs love Baytowne! Mariah is the most patient, kind, and professional lady and helped us found the best home. The maintenance staffs are professional, highly efficient, and nice! We love the newly built dog park, quiet neighborhood, various facilities. Best place to make it a home!

Very poor management team. Was told a while ago that I could sublease my apartment by their staff and have found someone to take my lease. Then the manager told me that this was not allowed.

The leasing specialist has been the most rude and imposing one that I have ever seen. Cannot imagine how the residents are being treated there. I was not even allowed to do a room tour and I was pushed to sign the lease right away even there is half a month for me to consider.

Baytowne is an amazing place to live in Champaign. It is ideally located, very well maintained, extremely safe and secure with a management team that does its best to make you feel home. The community is diverse and ideal for families with kids. Our two year stay in Champaign was a very memorable one thanks to this wonderful place.

The maintenance group was always helpful and always respectful and diligent in their duties. A great place to live and raise a family.

I think it's the best apartment in champaign. ❤👍💐🌿🏊‍♀️🏃🌷1. Security2. Beautiful lakes and trails3. Additional facilities (swimming pool, gym, squash room, etc.)4. Various events (simple breakfast, party, etc.)I feel like I'm at a resort every day.

We lived here for six years and enjoyed every moment of it. Baytowne is beautiful every season. It is well maintained and the staff helped us out immediately when we called them with any request. It might feel a little pricey at the beginning but I assure you it is worth every penny. Vacating was frustration-free and deposit settlement was fair. Stop looking and get yourself an apartment here. It will be one of the best decisions of your life.

My Mom has lived here for over 8 years and it's nice to be able to look outside and see the lake. Everyone is so nice. The gate security remembers you if you're visiting and the landscaping is very neat and professionally cared for. They take pride in their community! The clubhouse has a nice gym, racquetball court, lounge area, pool table, café, and full bar!

I lived here as a graduate student. The extra distance from campus was inconvenient, but not enough to make it worth living somewhere else. The apartments are great, property is really well maintained, and the amenities were also fantastic. Most of the residents are graduate students, families, or older couples so it's generally pretty quiet. The office staff was always very accommodating. The complex also didn't try to rip me off with my deposit after I moved out, which was a nice change from past experiences...
